Spiritual- minded, Radical Green, Internationalist and Local- oriented

We're in need of caring, mindful individuals who like to collaborate with others and who like to see things through to a meaningful closure.

There's endless tasks and responsibilities springing from a number of projects that we're involved in, all related to the themes above:

Any style or method of co-operation that attracts you, can be helpful. We have good ways of weaving everyone's participation into a meaningful larger whole.

Even if you never want to go to any meetings, there's a place for you with us: there's plenty to do online, through email, through reading and writing, researching, doing web- related work... plenty of stuff to do!

Or, if you like to have small work-sessions in face-to-face meetings, there's a place for you with our network. And from those meetings spring all sorts of tasks which can be done either with others, or alone, depending on what attracts you or feels comfortable for you.

If you like mindless tasks like folding leaflets, helping to wash the dishes, transcribing from audio, typing, we have plenty to do.

If you like to have personal contact with people, or to do phone calls, whatever it is...

....there's many ways to contribute to our work.
There may never be any compensation for your volunteer work with us. On the other hand, many of our people who are active volunteers in the liberation movement accumulate skills, knowledge and contacts which at some point or another may help with some sort of income (though it is guaranteed you will never make a fortune as long as you work with us!).

There's always something new coming up, so there's plenty of things to learn - we're always learning from each other in our projects. Even those of us who do this on a long-term basis are always learning from new colleagues.

There's always a lot to do and we're desperate for help, but we won't accept just anyone:

- We want to expand with people who are open to being aware of and willing to confront racism, sexism, and homophobia not only in society at large, but also internally, in the forms they take within us.
- We want to expand with people who have an open heart, and who are open to a process of self- growth.
- We want to expand with people who enjoy and are capable of appreciating a collective process, direct democracy, accountability.
- We want to expand with people who are capable and willing to honour and respect the validity of all Spiritual Paths, including pantheism, atheism, agnosticism, and also Spiritual Paths without faith.

It's of course impossible to demonstrate any of these qualities over an email. When you contact us, we prefer to start off in trust that you already have or appreciate all those qualities, or that you are open to learning more about them and to embrace them as principles.

We'd like it if you would please write to us, ask us questions, tell us a bit about yourself, your interests, what attracts you, what repels you, and how you might want to be involved in these projects. Please tell us about your time limits, or any other factors that will determine the shape our co-operation with you.

No special skills required - but please let us know if you have access to knowledge, skills, facilities, or any other resources which you think should be used to serve projects which are, as the title says:

~~"Radical Green, Spiritual- minded, Internationalist and Local- oriented"~~

You're offering to help out in the Movement for your own motives - we'd like to hear about your own perception of it all. What kinds of things would you like to ask of us which can lead to a good working relationship?

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Thanx!
